Introduction
Shifa Quran is developed by Habibi Lab. This Privacy Policy explains how information is handled when you use the Shifa Quran Android application.
1. Personal Information
Shifa Quran does not require you to create an account, register, sign in, provide an email address, or submit personally identifiable information to use the application’s core features.
We do not operate an analytics or advertising system designed to build profiles about Shifa Quran users.
2. Information Stored on Your Device
Application preferences and reading information may be stored locally on your device. This can include items such as:
- bookmarks and favorite verses;
- last-read and reading progress;
- listening progress;
- selected reciter and translation;
- appearance and application settings; and
- Quran recitations intentionally downloaded for offline listening.
This locally stored application information is used to provide Shifa Quran features and is not uploaded to a Habibi Lab user-account database.
3. Internet and Audio Services
Shifa Quran uses an internet connection when online content, such as Quran recitation audio, needs to be streamed or downloaded.
When your device connects to an external content provider, ordinary technical network information required to deliver the requested content may be processed by that provider according to its own privacy and service terms.
Shifa Quran does not use these requests to create advertising profiles about users.
4. Device Permissions
Shifa Quran requests only permissions needed to provide its application functionality.
Internet access is used to stream or download Quran recitations and other required online content.
Where Android requires a foreground-service or media-playback notification permission, it is used to support audio playback controls and continued recitation playback. It is not used to send advertising or promotional notifications.
Offline application files are stored using the application’s permitted storage area in accordance with Android platform requirements.
5. Third-Party Content and Services
Shifa Quran may access third-party Quran content or infrastructure required to provide Quran text, translations or recitation audio.
Relevant content providers and licensors are acknowledged within the application where applicable.
Third-party services may process ordinary technical information necessary to fulfil a network request according to their respective privacy policies and terms.
Shifa Quran does not sell user personal information.
6. Advertising and Analytics
Shifa Quran does not display third-party advertising and does not use third-party advertising SDKs.
Shifa Quran does not intentionally use analytics services to track users across applications or websites.
7. Children’s Privacy
Shifa Quran provides Quran reading and listening functionality and does not require users, including children, to create accounts or submit personal information to Habibi Lab.
We do not knowingly collect personal information from children through a Habibi Lab account or user-profile system.
8. Data Deletion
Because Shifa Quran’s bookmarks, preferences, progress and downloaded application content are stored locally on your device, you can remove this locally stored information by clearing the application’s storage or uninstalling Shifa Quran.
If future versions introduce optional online accounts or cloud storage, this Privacy Policy will be updated accordingly.
9. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy when application features, third-party services, or applicable requirements change.
The latest version will remain available on the Shifa Quran website, and the date at the top of this page will indicate the most recent update.
